Available Concentrations

Entrepreneurship

The MBA concentration in Entrepreneurship allows you to explore strategies and models to launch and operate businesses. This includes evaluating existing or potential franchise and consulting firms. The concentration provides business knowledge and skills to improve entrepreneurship practices used every day in companies and organizations.

Finance

The MBA concentration in Finance focuses on financial securitization, options analysis and derivatives analysis. Students will evaluate and apply strategies and techniques used to reduce risk using financial contracts, asset pools and combinations, liquidity, stocks and bonds.

Information Technology Management

The MBA concentration in Information Technology Management focuses on the critical role that information technology plays in day-to-day business operations and decision-making in order to achieve desired goals. Students focus on managing various aspects, including the relationships that exist between project structure and process and IT management.

International Business

The MBA concentration in International Business allows you to thoroughly examine the opportunities, uncertainties and risks present in the business world. Students will apply concepts and theories in international business to evaluate global phenomena in different cultural, political, social and economic contexts. This concentration prepares students to be leaders and managers in national or multinational organizations equipping them with skills to compete in the global market.

Project Management

The MBA concentration in Project Management offers the opportunity to manage projects from start to finish. Students explore real-world theories, methods and practices for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing a project. Students may choose to explore the decision-making and problem-solving processes, or gain the knowledge necessary to take the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
